FAQs
What does it cost to rent The H5 Ranch?
Like most luxury venues, we do not hand out rates or packages until after a tour; whether it’s an in person tour or a FaceTime tour. However there are still ways to keep you informed. We have a wedding budget info sheet we can send you and we can send out our pricing brochure with the prices omitted. Go to the “Contact Us” page and we’ll happily send them over! (Side note: you can see our rates without a tour if you are working with one of our top event planners: AtWillDesign, Ivory and Sage Events, Sprout Design, Soiree, and Asavvy Events)
Do you have a Vendors List?
Yes! Go to the “Contact Us” page and request a Vendors List in your message and we’ll send it right over!
Where can the rest of my guests stay if the Ranch House is full?
You are more than welcome to bring any RV’s or tenting supplies to sleep more folks. It is your ranch and you get it your way! But there is also an amazing selection of fancy AirBnB’s and Vrbo’s as well as a local Inn and Motel. Many guests do stay in Eagle or Boise and drive up too; it’s only an hour away!
How much do you require for the deposit?
Right now, just $1,000. If your package or event includes luxury activities we will also require the payment of the activities in full in order to book your activities.
What will my final bill look like?
We pride ourselves on transparency. No extra fees, taxes, or tack ons. Most clients know their final bill amount before sending the deposit. The only time that changes is if you purchase any activities or add ons after signing your contract.
After the tour, what is next?
If we’re the venue for you, the next steps would be to choose your package, sign the contract, then send the deposit. For weddings we’ll host you for a planning meeting 45 days before the event, to get all the details perfect.
Do you do events in winter?
Yes, for executive retreats and reunions this is an easy ask. For weddings and summits, we have a bit of planning to do. Our parking field is usually under 4 feet of snow in winter so we have everybody park on the road. Because of this we limit our gatherings to under 100 people to mitigate hardships of parking and egress. For weddings, ceremony options become very limited.
When is the pool open?
Approximately April 15th to October 15th. And yes, it’s heated.
What is your inclement weather plan for a wedding?
If it happens to rain when you were expecting to have an outdoor ceremony, we have a few great options. First, we have a covered patio area that we use as a backup ceremony site in case it rains, it has an amazing outdoor view! If you aren’t satisfied with that, we can continue with the same outdoor site and get married in the rain! Also, any indoor space, we would be happy to use instead.
What are the odds we see elk or deer during our stay?
It’s almost guaranteed. The seasons can make a difference but they typically come out to the meadow every sunrise and every sunset.
If I elope or have a family reunion, may I use the Barn?
Yes, but hosting any type of event or party there is limited. You may go in and enjoy some of the rooms for recreation, or preparation. But hosting an event with vendors at the barn is reserved for non-elopement events.
